These Aggies traveled the world in support of their education with the help of global study scholarships funded through the Texas A&M Foundation.
Global study scholarships allow students to enjoy unforgettable experiences while gaining firsthand understandings of different cultures. These experiences provide a boost in the academic and business worlds. Programs vary in length from one year to a few weeks.
Texas A&M boasts the eighth largest study abroad program in the country and ranks third nationally in students receiving academic credit for studying abroad. Last year, approximately 4,400 students participated in Texas A&M-sponsored or affiliated international programs, and 68 percent of those students earned academic credit.
Most students use a combination of scholarships and personal funds when studying abroad. A $25,000 endowed gift will provide a scholarship to be awarded annually. Because the Foundation manages the endowment to pay for a scholarship while simultaneously guiding the long-term growth of the principal, your gift will support students for years to come. Gifts to the Foundation are tax-deductible and may be made in the form of cash, securities, real estate or other real property.
