Texas A&M University's dedication to the training and development of teachers since its establishment resulted in the formation of the College of Education in 1969.
While the college was created to serve the needs of public and private schools throughout the state, now the College of Education and Human Development is recognized as a school for leaders in education, health, business and sport.
As the college celebrates its 50th year and looks toward its future, it honors the many individuals who helped shape its history and the many that will follow—carrying with them the legacy of excellence, innovation, dedication and service.
