Howdy and welcome to Aggieland!

On behalf of our entire team at the Texas A&M Foundation, we wish you a great start to the semester. I know the last few months have not been what anyone expected, but take pride in the fact that you are at one of the nation’s most unique and inspiring institutions of higher education. Texas A&M may not be perfect and no place is, but we work hard at doing the right things for the right reasons, and I can’t imagine anywhere else in the world that cares more about your education and growth. 
 
To the more than 9,250 Aggies on scholarships from the Texas A&M Foundation this year, congratulations! Please know that the donors who have contributed the funds to help support your education want you to grow in all aspects of your life. Academics is one piece of the puzzle here at Texas A&M, and it is the priority; however, they want you to know that all the other experiences you will have are part of what makes this place special. The core values of this university matter in ways that may not be fully appreciated until later in life for many of you, but please know that they do matter. 
 
The Texas A&M Foundation and its donors stand ready to lend a hand when and if needed. Give it your best shot, strive for growth and not perfection, and know that you are part of an extended network of Aggies who care deeply about our state, nation and world.
